Testimonials of Hope Landing

Where do I begin? I don’t have enough words to thank you for all you and everyone at Hope has done for myself and especially my mom!

The care and compassion that you all have shared is overwhelming.

I’ve made wonderful friends & wonderful memories at Hope! Mom loved her little apartment! She loved the fireplace and she loved all of you!

The hugs, love, & encouragement mean all the world to me. I’m thankful that we made this journey together!

You have created a “Dream” assisted living facility. Thank you for providing a beautiful facility that is attractive, has delicious food, social activities, and most important – spectacular staff. Thank you for your personal touch. God bless you.

Dear Lyle and Staff,
Thank you so very much for the wonderful care you gave my Mother Leona for the last 6 years.  She made wonderful friends at Hope Landing and enjoyed all the activities you provided.  When Sheri and Joel went to the hospital to visit with Mom, Sheri picked up Mom’s hand to comfort her.  Mom looked into Sheri’s eyes and asked her if she could go home. The love that came from Mom’s eyes spoke volumes. It brought tears to my eyes and a big smile to my face to know that she loved you, Sheri, Joel, and the rest of our Staff so much. Of course she had to take the opportunity to tease Joel a little. Not only did you give my mother wonderful care you also gave LOVE. After mom passed we were looking through family photos and there is the box where wedding invitations, and baby announcements from some of your staff.  Photos with her and Santa and Mom enjoying activities you provided were also there.  I have three words to describe Hope Landing… Wonderful Care, Love and Family.

Thank you very much again,

Respectfully,

Judy W

Dear Lyle & Cindy,
Thank you for the wonderful care you and your staff gave to mom during her four and a half years at Hope Landing. Hope Landing really became her home and you did so much to make her comfortable. It was such a comfort knowing she was safe and so well-cared for also. The concern and compassion extended to all of us during her final days was greatly appreciated and really did help to ease our pain. Thank you so much.

Fondly,

Alice & Dan

Hope Landing is a small, caring hometown assisted living facility. I feel very lucky that I found such a wonderful place for my Mom. From the moment you walk into the building, you feel at home. Each resident has a small but comfortable room, where they may bring their own belongings. The rooms are kept very clean by a wonderful staff. Activities are available for residents that wish to participate. The staff is very caring, compassionate and competent. As my mother ages, they provide the additional care which she requires. They work very well with my Mom’s doctor and outside agencies such as Hospice. The owners are often in the building and always happy to talk to you about any concerns or answer any questions you may have. Many worries were relieved when my Mom moved to Hope Landing. I recommend it to everyone that asks.

Dear Lyle & Staff,
Lyle, I want to take this opportunity to thank you and all of your staff for the wonderful care you gave my mother during her stay at your facility. All of our family appreciates how welcomed our mother felt. Even though my mother missed her home of many years, she knew she couldn’t have come to a better place. We also want to thank the residents of Hope Landing for the respect shown our mother. We all highly regard Hope Landing.
Sincerely,

Philip, Bruce, Gordon, Rick and families

Good morning to you all!
Nothing special in this email except to say that I was just thinking about Dad and a feeling of such gratitude for all you do came over me. So I thought I would just share how much you are appreciated! Susie and I talked this weekend, (I had called Dad to tell him my youngest daughter received a Naval ROTC scholarship and apparently he forgot who exactly had called or who I was talking about!) and we both talked about how great you all are to him, and have basically saved his life a number of times! You have done what we could not (be there every time he needed something) and he would not (eat right, take care of himself, etc.) So as you go about your day today, just remember how much you all mean to our family, and most of all, to Dad! I hope you have a great week!

The comfort and peace of mind we felt as we walked through the doors of Hope Landing for the first time, was remarkable. We had visited many different places, but at Hope Landing we felt welcomed in the same way you would from a family member. We knew from that very first visit, this was the place where we would want our father to stay. The manner in which we were so warmly welcomed made the transition for our father from his home to assisted living so much easier. The owners and staff at Hope Landing went above and beyond to care for our dad and to accommodate his personal style, his medical needs and to meet him at his level of cognitive function. Warm, friendly, knowledgeable caregivers who were sensitive to our dads needs made his life easy going and it quickly became his home. He loved the staff and we were so comforted by the fact that he felt so at home with all of them.
Our decision to have our father at Hope Landing for nearly two years was one of the best decisions we made for him. Our family would recommend Hope Landing without hesitation to those seeking a close-knit, caring community in which to place their loved ones.

We just wanted to say thanks for all you did for Iva. You don’t know how much peace we had knowing she was in good hands. Your staff was wonderful. I know she always talked about going home, but I know she liked it there and she liked the people and staff. (She thought it was a real nice hotel.) Denny says if you ever need anything, call. He really liked helping at the carnival. That was a beautiful day.

Thanks,

Dennis, Vicki and Wendy

We wanted to thank you again for all the care and thoughtfulness you gave to our mother over the last two and a half year of her life. She was at home there and greatly appreciated all that you and Cheri and the entire staff did for her. She wasn’t real hard to please, but I know she had her moments. We found your care superb and your generosity of spirit unmatchable.

Thank you,

The children of Lois Podany
